Doug’s sister Dana, and her husband Mark, came to Vegas for the weekend to celebrate Mark’s birthday.

We met up with them on Saturday the 22nd of March.  We brought Tigger down to the Strip and not wanting to drive back late and after drinking, we parked him in the parking lot behind the Planet Hollywood Parkade.  Our camping app found us this free little known spot.  We saw a couple of other RV’s and asked if this “was the spot” and were told the hotel as a “don’t ask don’t tell” type of policy so we took advantage.

We met Mark & Dana at their hotel, Treasure Isladn and took some monorails and walked the strip a bit ending up at The Excalibur where we took them out for lunch.

We wandered through a few hotels enroute and about 4:30 we split up; Fran & Dana headed to The Luxor to see “Menopause – The Musical” while Doug joined Mark at the Monster Truck Rally at Sam Boyd Stadium.

We met up afterwards at the new “Quad” hotel (the former Imperial Palace).

It was a good time and our first time on the Strip since we moved here – amazing!
